We have been professional involved in the premium outdoor kitchen industry for nearly 30 years, practically since the inception of the “outdoor kitchen”, or since they have been commercially marketed as outdoor kitchens.

My great grandfather was a brick mason here in North Carolina. In the early 1960’s, he built a simple brick structure with a recessed opening for charcoal where a cast iron grate could be placed over the hot coals for grilling. It also had plenty of counter space for leaning and entertaining. The weekend barbecues and seasonal fish fries that took place around it are some of my best memories. It was the heart of family outdoor gatherings for decades.
